It will be an interesting case. I understand that no one has ever been successfully prosecuted on those charges.

Assange is to face a full extradition (to the US) hearing starting on 25 February 2020:
Assange extradition 'assault on journalism'

If he is extradited, and subsequently convicted, then it is likely he will be sent to the Federal ADX Supermax in Colorado.  If so, it will make his current tenure in the high security Belmarsh Prison seem like a luxury holiday camp.

I believe that is correct BG,,,add to the fact that Manning can not prove that she was in communication with Assange afaict .. it will be an interesting case  with maybe a few surprises along the way
