I think everyone is kicking themselves for not getting some Bitcoin 7 years ago and holding onto them..

I know I am. 7 years ago I'd just started working for the AA, and one of the garages I passed fairly often I noticed said it accepted Bitcoin. Not knowing what Bitcoin was, I googled it and realised it was an "internet currency". I thought "Oh, I don't need that, Paypal is just fine"

Don't even try to win that discussion My partner has been bugging me to sell my Bitcoins for years, the more I ignore her the better they do

I think I'm roughly at 15x my initial investment now Best thing is chuck a couple grand in and run away for a few years.

Worst thing I ever did was telling her! Her anxiety went through the roof she had visions of me gambling all our (my) savings on Ethereum. I only bought 2 grands worth!

My partner calmed down once we paid our mortgage off last year, until then she was bugging me to sell up and use it towards the house.

I wish I had blown all my savings on Bitcoin, right now I'd be looking to retire! Instead I was sensible and put most of it in Vanguard funds, that have done well, but not quadrupled in the last year...
