Much too volatile, he's nuts. I told him he was mad. He has a lot of alt coins I hope one of them grows nicely. Bought some myself but only pittance compared to him.
If only I sold my Ethereum 4 or so weeks ago.. even 6 or 7 of them would have paid for my holiday this year! Now all I can hope for is a small profit then pick up more when they go below 100 quid, which I'm sure they will.

These will be volatile for years.  I'm hoping my regular purchases will smooth out some of that volatility.

Not long till the end of the month.  Large drop had been followed by a large recovery.

Too much of a rollercoaster for me, and have seen crazy stories such as people buying Ethereum at $350 then selling at a huge loss then buying again at $120. What on Earth? I got out with a small profit, I'll only go for the big two if and when the price is right.

The worst case scenario for Bitcoin forking has passed, as are the cheaper buying opportunities.  BIP 91 has been locked in by the majority [emoji106]

It was all "oh August 1 is the date watch out Bitcoin is going to lose a lot of value heading toward that date" so I think great I'll grab some bargains close to that date. Then "oh BIP 91 is locked in 2 weeks earlier so now is the time to jump on board even though a single Bitcoin is 60% more expensive than a few days ago". Forget that, I'll wait until the next dip and I have a feeling that Bitcoin isn't out of the woods yet. I don't like the way it drags the market up and down, all it would take is something to pop the Bitcoin bubble and everything will be dragged down with it.

Hi guys, I'm looking to invest into cryptocurrency

The ones that interest me are

Ethereum
Ripple XRP
Digibyte
Litecoin
Antshares

I've had a look around but it looks very complicated, firstly finding a site to BUY the currency, and then how/where to store it

Currently signed up on bitstamp but they don't offer some of the currency's I'm after so will have to branch off elsewhere, any guidance?

Also what are the best ways of saving them in a wallet? What sites are considered the best/most secure?

Thanks in advance

Ripple, Ethereum and LiteCoin all on Kraken and Bittrex.
Ethereum and LiteCoin also on Coinbase.
Antshares is on Bittrex, what I did was buy some Bitcoin on Kraken (using Euro as I'm in Euroland) and transfer it to the Bitcoin wallet on Bittrex, then buy some Antshares.
Not sure about Digibyte, not on my radar.

Kraken and Coinbase apparently very secure and I think Bittrex is too, I hope so anyway.

Hi all, I have an account on bittrex and have a couple of wallets on there with investments in

Omisego, Digibyte and Antshares

Im abit nervous about leaving these in the exchange wallets as I have heard they possibly could be vulnerable. I'm not looking to trade, holding these for the long term.

Would these coins be able to be put into a paper wallet? What is the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance again guys
