No, I don't think Trump should be himself. Who he is, is an ignorant, incurious, racist, selfish, narcissist sack of ****. All attributes wholly unfitting the position of POTUS and making him woefully unqualified for the role he find himself in. The President is supposed to be the best of us, to inspire and represent all citizens. That front you dismiss is in fact politeness, tact, and diplomacy, all skills that would aid Trump in being a more effective leader and somebody parents can expose to their children without needing to explain that this is not normal.
Obama managed to work with openly racist men of the opposition and get his healthcare bill passed without controlling all three branches. How is it that the Dotard, king of the deal, can hold all three branches and can't even pass tax cuts that aren't in any way as controversial or ideologically challenging as subsidised healthcare? I'll tell you. Obama was a politician not a bullshine merchant. He knew you can't lie or bully your way to real change or achievement. He sucked up his personal thoughts on people he knew hated him and managed to work with them for a greater good. That's what a leader looks like.
Triggered. That word, almost as beloved as Cuck and Snowflake. When you use that word, you're basically saying that to care about something is inappropriate and an over reaction. It's used to dismiss or devalue opposition or criticism of an action that very probably should be opposed and criticised.
And yes, that Pochahontus "banter" was disgusting like most of the rotten word salad that falls from Trump's pouty little hole. |
