Am I reading this right? It only rained for you two days? I've been to Florida a few times and on every trip it rained everyday. It didn't matter whether it was oct or august it rained every day at roughly three pm. It would rain so hard for an hour there'd be 5 inch deep puddles, but 30 mins after it stopped it was bone dry.

Florida seems to have two seasons, hot and wet, hotter and wetter. From my experience you can set your watch by weather over there.

At the op Busch gardens is excellent if you like coasters, with kids your age I'd avoid magic kingdom as it's crap for teens . The water parks are awesome

Rain ??!?

This is day 10 out of 14 in Orlando and we've had just one 2 hour mini storm a few days ago ...  gail force wind and rain then it was all over ...

Massive improvement over flamin' Bury , Gtr Manchester where the default setting appears to be "rain with a dab of wind"

As regards Magic Kingdom , granted it's aimed at kids ( it is Disney after all ) but we all loved it yesterday . The only part I didn't care for was at the end .... when we went on a last minute ride ... Seven Dwarfs Mine Train . I was expecting a nice relaxing song along trip but it was like something from hell !!  Felt like a 100 mile downhill nightmare , thrown all over the place in very dark tunnels ... I'm not good on rides like that so I quickly wedged myself into the cart and closed my eyes !!

Orlando is basically blistering heat, torrential rain and 1000% humidity. Normally all contained within the same hour

Florida is hot and wet.

But I deny the man made climate change hoax. Which is being used by the globalists to centralise power, control us and tax us.

I love a good climate change denial thread. I'm not sure which section to start it in.

@Abbeygoo There seem to be great deals on car hire at the moment through Auto Europe. Bookings with Alamo direct were coming out at £1200 for me so I booked through Auto Europe  (Dollar) for £840. Just canceled and rebooked through Auto Europe (Alamo) for £740.

Alamo are a lot better than Dollar.

When you talk about rain it's not the same as rain here.
Rain in Florida is a welcome relief from the heat. It rains as if it won't stop for 30 minutes, then it disappears almost immediately as if it had never rained.

After a fab day yesterday at Magic Kingdom we are just off to Hollywood Studios again , our daughter in law is starring in the main evening show Fantasmic - we will be nice for us and I'm keen to have another go on the Star Wars Tours attraction ... presumably ending with a fabulous fireworks spectacular - last nights Magic Kingdom display was amazing .

Didn't mention it yesterday but we got a special meet and greet with the cast backstage ...which I found kinda awkward especially as we were ushered through the castle after the performance ...I was thinking  a million kids would absolutely love and meet and hug session with the characters ..  It's a funny old world !!
