There are loads of great crazy golf places. They are pretty amazing if all you have seen of crazy golf is the lame efforts we have by the seaside in this country. Usually multi level and good sized holes. They do love their mini golf in the USA!

I agree with the above, for your 14 days forget doing both Disney and Universal. You will not have time to do both. If you try both you will all be so tired for the last few days of the holiday that you won't enjoy it as much as you should.

If it was me I'd just do Disney this trip.
Gatorland is great for a visit and the airboat rides are a must.

When you go to the parks, take a water bottle in with you, plus a packed lunch. You will spend a small fortune on food and drink inside the parks if you don't.

Thanks for the advice again chaps. Once in a lifetime trip I reckon, given the cost, so planning on at least doing Disney and universal. Will see what else we can plan in too.

Just to add my 2p's worth.....

My wife and I (no kids) went for two weeks last May and did all the main parks, apart from Busch Gardens, with ease. We also did Gatorland, Discovey Cove, Aquatica, an air boat ride and visited Kennedy Space Centre. I can see it being much harder if you did go with kids but for the two of us we had plenty of time. It helped that it wasn't too busy, apart from Magic Kingdom.

We are going back next October so I'm planning on doing the Universal Halloween Horror Nights too.

Yep.  I did a once-in-a-lifetime trip back in 1994.  Went back in 96 and since then, I've lost count........  Trust me - unless you are very unusual in your tastes, you will return; oh yes, you will return.

You will be absolutely shattered if you even manage to do the majority of that.

Forget about Gatorland - it's awful unless seeing baby aligators with duct tape around their mouths to stop them eating kids is your kind of thing.

Disney:
Magic Kingdom - needs at least 2 if not 3 days to do properly
Epcot - can be done in a day
Hollywood Studies - 2 days
Animal Kingdom - when I last went it was under a lot of refurbishment - I expect it needs 2 days now.
Water Park - 1 day

Universal:
1 day per park to do it justice

that's 11 days of your 14 already - you need to factor in rest days and a day at the outlets for cheap clothing is always a good idea.

Forget Sea World as well - more animal cruelty

Busch Gardens - never been

You could do Universal and Disney and a waterpark in 14 days with some rest days.  That is just about tolerable.  Remember - there is massive humidity and heat in Orlando - it takes a lot out of you.

Yep.  It's a shame that kids = summer (by and large).  It's way more pleasant later on, and prices of everything including flights, and crowds, are at their lowest between Thanksgiving (third week November) and just before Christmas.

It's horrific all year round IMO.  We always go in October - I've never been in August but my wife has.  It's still way to hot and humid for me in October but with a wife and 3 kids what can you do.

I'd rather go to Disney California where the climate is much more agreeable for me.

Well I had five weeks in Florida last year at the time I mention, and but for four separate days (when we had some rain) it was like the most glorious part of a good English summer throughout.  And it's not the first time - this is when I usually go, but never previously for so long a stay.

We're out here at the moment, last full day, will post a little more advise once back but in regards to transport - uber has been unbelievable for this trip, from I-drive to universal studios uber cost like $7 so $14 return or it'll cost $20 to park; no brainer really.
