On my way to work in the morning, 99% of the time I cross the road without having to resort to a crossing of any kind. I only use the one pelican crossing situated on one of the main arteries into the city centre, where the crossing is close to a junction with a busy ring road. The The junction is controlled by traffic lights which change all the time and traffic has to be inconvenienced and stop anyway. My pressing the button at the pelican is a slight inconvenience because any traffic approaching the crossing is going to have to stop anyway a few metres later at the junction with the ring road. I don't have any sympathy for drivers because even as early as 6.30am there can be enough cars to trail back from the junction to the crossing and often drivers block the crossing when the lights turn red and it can be impossible to cross.

I don't think any drivers never make a mistake, so if someone does something daft just forget it, it might be you doing something daft tomorrow,

I always try and keep the traffic moving, but then I'm retired and never in a hurry or have something else on my mind like some.

This is my experience as well, I've had someone keep swerving towards me on the motorway because I didn't let him undertake me. Now I just let them get on with it, not worth it.

Funny thing is these kinds of people are probably completely different In real life, put them behind a wheel and they're crazy.

Oh dear, man in an old Merc got quite angry with me this afternoon. Sometimes I travel down a popular winding lane, which can result in one car having to reverse to a passing point. The Merc was 30 or so metres past such a point but still kept coming on. I knew there were another two cars behind me so I stood my ground and held up two fingers to let make him aware. But no he still came on with a rather furious look on his face throwing his arms in the air.

The two following cars were now right behind me so instead of reversing a few metres he now had to go a fair few more. I've seen milk turn quicker. Now I know why he wanted me to reverse. He was like a wandering minstrel. Eventually he pulled in and as I pulled alongside he called me an old b*****d. To which I replied that he best not apply for a HGV licence. Sadly, it seems, I rose to the bait.

There is a great video of a woman doing exactly that on a domestic street, turns out she's is useless at reversing. It does make me wonder how some pass their exam..

I've experienced my first bit of rage tonight when a taxi driver was driving right up my arse into a dark, bendy, residential area that i didn't know. Of course i'm keeping the speed right down as it was literally turn after turn on to different streets with cars parked randomly on both sides. I was about to flick my indicator to turn right when the taxi driver decided to race past me on the wrong side of the road, this is where i made the wrong decision to follow him and pull up behind when he stopped. I got out, knocked on his window and asked him what the **** he was doing?? He started shouting and telling me it wasn't a 20mph road and he's trying to earn money,  it did get a little heated and he started shouting at me to punch him. I wasn't stupid enough to do it so told him to be careful (in a not so polite way) and walked off.

What concerned me the most is that i'm then extremely angry and have some more driving to do, this of course isn't a good combination with the amount of nobs on the road. It just winds me up that anyone can be so impatient, he literally got to the destination 5 seconds before i did but he decided to risk hitting my car,  someone elses car or potentially a pedestrian all while transporting 2 passengers.
