Seems to be a good week for car spotting in Park Royal, today I passed a Alfa 8C Competizione, my god what a beautiful car, sex on wheels, bright red and gleaming in the sun.
I pass an Audi R8 on the way to work, plus the odd Noble and Honda NSX. I used to live next to a guy who had an Alfa Romeo Zagato SZ. Last week a Lancia Stratos overtook me.
Oh and I have a Datson 260Z in the garage being put back together at the moment, that must be a rare one?
Yesterday in a (very expensive) residential road near Holland Park, I saw the Noble again, across the road was a classic Bentley, next to that was a Phamtom and coming out of a driveway was a Rolls Royce Drophead.
Today I saw this Mercedes 600 Pullman in a Shepherd's Bush showroom (yes, I know I said not to mention showroom cars but these are super rare).
Ferrari Enzo parked outside the cafe we were having a few coffees at in Kurfurstendamme,Berlin.
On the subject,I don't think I've been to any european city where I've such a number of expensive or unusual cars recently.....some serious money and collectors around there.
Good chance the Stratos is a replica - there are about 15 Stratii in the UK (we have one in our family) and quite a few of those are either competition cars or stuck in private collections - polished but not drivable.
Meanwhile there are two manufactuers of replicas and between them over 600 have been produced.
