Aprilia have announced a new RSV4 Factory aPRC model, now with ABS and a revised engine and electronics.

In a video, I like how they also say it has now got a bigger fuel tank for more range, so I guess they still haven't improved the MPG and thought a bigger tank would solve it.

I didn't even get to 60 town miles when the fuel light came on from my last full tank. The Japanese 1000s I've owned previously would manage around 100 miles on the same roads. The RSV4 is still awesome though!

I've noticed the RSV4 is getting pretty heavily discounted now.
I've been trying to push a mate to get one, but he's a Ducati man and wants a Panigale.
My argument wasn't helped by a youtube three-way test featuring MCN and Neil Hodgson, that had the RSV4 firmly in third behind the BMW and Panigale.
He tried a CBR1000 and was bored rigid by it.
Not the speed, no-one can be bored of the speed, it was just too.......vanilla....

Hodgson raced Ducati's and is currently the ambassador for the 848 championship, so do you really expect an unbiased opinion from him.

I'm 6'1" and the RSV4 doesn't feel small at all, whereas I always felt too big for my 2008 Fireblade.

He rated the BMW higher than the Panagale, so he doesn't appear biased in this instance.
And the MCN rider agreed with him.

Been missing my V-Twin fix since selling my RSV last year...This should help

2006 Tuono.. 10k miles from new and utterly mint.
