Certainly less work than a straight four.

Bit strange to start with but you soon get used to them...I've tried going back to Fours for the extra power (almost bought a ZX10r ) but missed the V-twin character....

I got a long term test of a CBR1000RR a while back.
Even though I've raced and like to think I can handle a bike, I felt the power was just too concentrated towards the top end of the rev range and if you used it you were doing ballistic speeds.
Wanted more low down/mid-range.
I'm guessing I've got around 120bhp at the back wheel, that'll do fine.
The boys with 30-40bhp more at 11000 rpm can work to get by me.

I have to say my R6 has got awesome top end power but as you said you soon find that you are going stupid speeds!

Brother had a 675 R and that was just power everywhere.

Was lovely to ride as you could just relax and keep it in any gear you wanted and when you put the gas on it just went.

A mate has had Ducatis for years, with me mostly having 4 cylinder 600s.
Chasing him on the road was very tiring, my left foot was going up and down like a drummer.
Let's see him pull away from me now.

Maybe you fellas can help me out here!

So as someone that doesn't drive at all.

What the hell is the possess needed these days?

If it help I'm 24.

First step is obviously a provisional licence at the cost of £50

Followed by a CBT?

Dont I need to actually know the rules of the road?

Yes. Get your theory test done before your CBT. It'll help you a lot. Then once armed with both, you can go for the full license.

I like that can.
I wouldn't go replacing with with some sort of stubby effort, that's for sure.
