To sum up - the show is boring.
It's a somewhat original take on the Sleepy Hollow legend, but it's poorly written with inconsistent acting (mostly the leads are not very good, but supporting characters have been quite good.) Watched the first two episodes, and I've had the third one sitting in my Hulu queue 'just in case', but it just isn't worth the time.
The pilot at least managed to catch my attention, but the second episode showed what is likely to be the main pattern of not-terribly-interesting monster-of-the-week episodes. There just isn't enough here to carry a show. Maybe if they'd made this a movie or a mini-series, but the writing/directing/acting isn't good enough to carry this through the huge amount of filler they're going to have to have to disguise the fact that the premise just won't take that much screen time to deal with.
