I've never seen something die this quickly, it's crashed after only two episodes!! It's like that poor cargo jet in Afghanistan that just barely made it off the runway then ploughed into the ground.

The first ep was quite gripping, and I read all the complexity about how this is this version and not that version etc blah. Fine, I just wanted to see what they'd made. Concepts are a dime a dozen, it's execution that counts.

The second ep and well here we are, it's Under The Dome - and I watched that piece of turkey bread for five entire rubbishtastic episodes before I couldn't take the sheer lack of any detectable content.

The production mistakes I see as follows:

* The show is called Resurrection, and ... well not saying anything more or I'll have to tick the spoiler box and I Don't want to, I want this review out in public. So just a hint...

* Too many plot lines launched at once, before giving us a chance to care about anything, anywhere, done by anyone.

* Too much deep and meaningful gazing and choking up - between characters we have only just met and don't know anything about, or care about. I have NO reason to like any of them at all yet.

* Attempts at suspense... when there is nothing, except for the premise, to actually *be suspenseful* about yet. Writers - dearies, you have to RAISE the stakes before you can call them in, and that takes skill.

In short: Pile of junk. Don't care where it goes. Don't waste your time. Moving on.
