I do not care that it does not follow the original Dracula story. It has a great plot and it had me hooked from beginning to end. The acting gave me shivers and the decor was astonishing. The story has a lot of unexpected moves, and also some funny clichés. It is a whole new look on the tale, it still shows a lot of Dracula's mercilessness but also his compassionate side and his deep desires. You have no idea how the story will unfold and where it will take you. When I started watching the first season I did not realise there was no second season, this was quite a disappointment for me. I hope they will change their minds and continue this series, because it is outstanding.

However, I wish that in the next season (if there ever comes one) they should really elaborated on the background story of Alexander.
