Well the first episode was good, a little fast, I would have preferred more of a mystery/investigation feel with the FBI and the priest characters slowly piecing together the truth which then leads up to the big reveal a few more episodes in. However, the whole media manipulation theme and the seduction of the young and the vulnerable in society to the Visitors cause was very well done.
As long as they stick to the Resistance vs. Fascist takeover route the original series was supposed to follow rather than having some half-alien star child messiah being born to fulfil a "mystical" prophecy I'll be happy.
