I can look past the slow start. I can look past the poor CGI. And for the first 7 episodes, I could even look past the bland dialog and plot. Why? Because I had someone to root for. Clay. I wanted him to win over Elena.
But then, they completely ruined Clay. He contributes nothing. Tortures a a really cool bad guy. Wins no fight. Does nothing badass. Has literally no redeeming scenes.
And doesn't save Elena.
But then she cheats on her boyfriend with him. It makes no sense. You don't want to see them hook up.
And now, I have no one to 'root' for. I think Elena is a whore. I think Clay is completely undeserving of anything. And I don't care about any other character because they either suck at acting or they have annoying/unsubstantial scenes.
