I don't know how many episodes of this drivel are in the can, but they should stop immediately and cancel this show. I spent 17 years in the public safety dispatch field, working for 4 agencies in that time. This TV show is without a doubt the worst piece of garbage I have ever seen. The producers of this show owe every person in the public safety field an apology. Absolutely every scene was wrong or utterly stupid. No firefighter would ever take an engine out for a spin driving with lights and sirens to meet a woman to have sex. The amount of liability is incalculable. Angela Bassett handling calls alone and as a sergeant? Ridiculous. A 911 dispatcher able to stay on the phone for an unlimited amount of time, listening in or taking over a situation on the phone telling a criminal she can help him escape to save a little girl. I literally almost threw up.
Oh how I long for the days of Jack Webb and his productions of Adam 12, Dragnet and Emergency!. What the hell is going on in Hollywood these days? Do not waste your time watching this crap unless you have accidentally swallowed poison and need to vomit.
