People are comparing it to various good gritty series with strong characters and storyline. This has neither but it is OK if you don't think about it too much.
There is a little sex and a lot of gratuitous drug taking. There is also some violence which is unrealistic. Is that supposed to make it gritty ? It's pointless detailing the vast logical inconsistencies in the storyline. There are simply too many. Lets just say shooting somebody in the boot of a car isn't the only really daft thing to do. Let's not worry about the petrol running onto the road after they drive down the road in it. will they run out of petrol or just catch fire before they can destroy the car? Who knows ? So it's quite entertaining and the story is developing but is it worth watching ? I'm really not sure yet. I have watched three episodes and may watch another couple. would I recommend it to a friend,... no unless the alternative was friends or eastenders.
