score 10/10
This is one of the rarest of shows. Brilliantly written, and flawlessly acted, it proves that if you have a great story to tell, you can do it without huge special effects. For me, the biggest delight is the acting of Alice Braga. She is able to show incredible emotion best, by what she doesn't do or say. It's just a very understated resolve on her face and in her eyes. - It's close to the way that Wagner Moura played the role of Pablo Escobar. She just draws you in. The show also shows the very violent and brutal parts of the drug trade, without going overboard. I look forward to many more great seasons of this show.
