Da Vinci's life was already extroaordinary. I fail to understand why the writers felt the need change history and to insert an unnecessary major character like Caterina da Cremona. What for? Furthermore, I cannot understand the actress Matilda de Angelis's whispering throughout the 8 episodes. She rarely spoke clearly. Maybe she thinks it makes her more alluring. Not! Aiden Turner is the reason I gave this 2 stars. He shows some real acting skills in this.
