I thought I had really found my favorite Brit series with Hetty Wainthrop, but Rosemary & Thyme has become my favorite. Relaxing, enjoyable, light fare. I get so tired of the USA gritty crime dramas. These have a great sense of humor and the scenery in the series is gorgeous. Learned a lot about plants as well. Both actresses are top notch and look like real people, not Hollywood's version of what they think real people look like. There is excellent chemistry between the two actresses as well. I understand that the show was very popular and it's cancellation came as a surprise to everyone. I believe that the same thing happened to the excellent Hetty Wainthrop Investigates. I have never seen either actress in anything else, so they were a refreshing surprise.
