Why was this show cancelled? It was so relaxing to watch, and one of the better detective series of recent times!

Of course I have grown up on Inspector Morse, Touch of Frost and Midsummer Murders, but Rosemary and Thyme so deserves to be up there with them. As so many other commentators have so rightly said, why was this fantastic series cancelled? Sure I don't think it is as complex as Morse, but it is very entertaining, fun, and relaxing to watch! Visually, it's lovely to look at, some of the gardens featured in the series are just beautiful beyond words. The theme tune by Christopher Gunning was superb, and had this Irish folk music feel. Felicity Kendel and Pam Ferris are perfect as the female gardeners/sleuths, they had great chemistry, and there are many memorable moments in the series. In conclusion, if you see this series on television, or see it in the shop, watch it, because you'll be glad you did. 10/10 Bethany Cox
