A romance blooms with two competing food truck vendors Cleo (Natalie Hall) and Gabe (michael Rady). Mrs. Shullivan and I are fans of the Hallmark TV films but this was more like a frozen dinner than a slow cooked family recipe. The two love interest food truck vendors are rarely seen cooking inside their respective food trucks, because they were always pre-occupied and sitting down in someone else's restaurant somewhere being served hand and foot. The flower arrangements were over the top and everywhere, even though you could literally see the frost coming out of the breath of the truck vendors when they spoke. Fresh flower arrangements outdoors in the late fall?
Cleo's grandfather used to run a popular Italian restaurant and the lease is open for a new owner. Mmmm? A food truck competition is running their very first annual contest with the top prize being $100,000.00 which is how much investment it would take for Cleo's dream to become a reality.
This film "is cooked with a whole lot of cheese" and this pun is intended. I give it a 5 out of 10 rating since I am not a fan of frozen cookie cutter recipes like You're Bacon Me Crazy.
