I just seen this three year old movie, I know I'm being a little late but yeah Finally decided to give it a try as Ayushmann is in it. After so many memorable films from Ayushmann I had high hopes for it. But It led me to disappointment!
Before coming to the negative points let's discuss about the positive points first.
The dialogues are well written with lots of humorous one liners that will surely make you laugh or at least chuckle! The performances, the comic timings specifically were just brilliant. So the entertainment factor was definitely there to enjoy.
But the main problem lies in its execution on the core subject i.e. 'Erectile Dis-function' A common issue faced by several Men in our society. Generally a Man is never fully comfortable sharing these issues with family, friends or doctors! As they are too afraid to do so! They think it could harm their image as a 'Man'. I thought by bringing that sensitive subject ; makers could have easily motivated or helped those who are in need to come out and share! They could have made them learn a lesson about this whole problem they are facing! Instead they had gone with Over dramatic fun route where many scenes or particular scenarios felt illogical and certainly out non realistic!
Unlike Vicky Donor or Badhaai Ho where those two sensitive subjects have been dealt with utmost sincerity and delicacy. I loved those two films not just because of the entertainment factor but the main Message got delivered properly.
Unfortunately that's not the case here! The main core message got lost in between mediocre direction and brainless comedic script. So in the end No One would get any benefits whatsoever from this movie! Instead the people who are currently facing this problems might become more scared and depressed!
