Very great performance by Kaluuya. His portrayal was spot on. What else that was spot on was King's detailed visual of the party in its entirety. The hate-filled bafoonery in comparing the Klan and BP has always been puzzling, for logical reasons. Instead, the film manifested the actual ambition and aide the party provided to outright forgotten citizens (of all races) of Chicago. Which ideally should have been done by the local and statewide govt. The works of chairman Hampton resonates today. The film also provided room to empathize with the 'Judas.' As well highlighted the evil works of the well known, infamous J.Edgar Hoover. I give this film 5/5 stars! Great work by all of whom were involved. Now we have a good idea as to why our public schools didnt provide clear information and teachings of the 'Chairman' Fred Hampton! |
