I have to admit, I watched it till the end, but just to know how the mystery of teacher Eve was resolved.

The rest was pretty bad. We obviously have to love and feel for Virginie, the female police officer who's kid was missing and who's husband slept with a young girl. Apart from the age of the girl, I do understand why he did it, Virginie is horrible. I did not feel sorry for her at any moment, I just plainly disliked her very very much. I did feel sorry for the other parents.

Logic in policing should have seen her taken from the case, but she wasn't. Even after she made mistake after mistake after offence after (probably) crime (threatening people, strangling them etc. and even giving her husband a alibi thus lying tot her captain), she just could go on.and on and on until the end. The captain told her many time she should be taken of the case, but he just didn't.

The whole series was depending on the viewers agreeing on a emotional level with the story and ignoring all the rest.

As i France the age of consent is 15, Virginies husband had legally done nothing wrong. There were no reasons to keep him, especially after his wife had lied for him.

It is always wrong to pay to have sex with a woman younger then 18, but in France you get a fine for doing so. No one will be held by the police for doing it. Probably no judge will have a site give the names of customers if these customers do not have a specific crime they are accused of (and not something you get a fine for) just to see if they knew someone. No one had a lawyer who would have gotten them all free instantly (that would not fit the story). Virginie questioned and pressed two under-aged boys with consent from her boss without them having any legal representation or grown up present which I believe is not really allowed. Even when they arrived at the fact that it must have been the head teacher, it was only based on the fact that an 'idiot' had just said the name 'Joe" without any further explanation and the fact that probably the girls knew the abductor. There was nothing more except for the fact that it was the final episode. No judge would have allowed a raid on the house like that. Etc. etc. etc. I could go on forever. They just did away with the law and reasoning for the emotional story.

The story just does not make any (logical) sense.

If you like your emotions and do not care for any logic or good story, this one is for you, if you believe that there should be some connection to policing in real life and the story should at least make sense, you should leave this one alone.
