As a historian, I have to admit I was surprised how accurate and beautifully executed this first season is. I especially loved the recreation of the Panteón de los Reyes de León, which shows that the makers know what they are doing. I liked the sets and the clothing as well. Although thie first series is about the younger yesrs of Rodrigo de Vivar, I think the writers did an excellent job. Particularly the character of Doña Urraca is very promising indeed.
