would love to be able to write glowing review but Rebellion is such a waste, all that talent, the story Synge, O'Casey et all must be roaring. The stereo types, the Dubs dirty thieving atheists while the god fearing culchies sure we still be doffing our caps to the queen oh I forgot that's come back into fashion. The problem is 21st century TV has taken a jump in production quality that has left anything but the very best looking so staged. Its so ironic that the culprit for this has its best parts made in Ulster. The script has such high standards to compare to, if you can watch an Alfred Hitchcock production of Juno and the Paycock from 1930, filmed almost entirely in one room to know what a story there is to be still told of 1916 and all that.
