You want it to be like the originals. You want it to be a fresh and revamped version. You have a crew with a younger group spouting jokes with references to things they were either too young for or not even born to witness. The writers pushed too much into to thin a premise. They never stop to take a breath. It's like stoned idiots that are just making jokes not even watching the movie. The only credible character is a lame side kick of a very lame antagonist. The bots sound like homeless people drug off the streets and offered a hot meal just to ramble on for an hour and a half and given a bottle of the good stuff for their efforts. You start to feel sorry for the nobody that they brought in to fill the shoes of the two original protagonists. This reboot makes you just want to watch the horrible b movies without the background noise of the new mst3k crew. Maybe, this is ok for the millennial liberals but not for fans of the original shows.
