I only watched one episode but I thought they destroyed the house. I didn't care for anything they did. It left me cringing. The house had some real potential but they didn't tap into it. Just knocking down all the walls doesn't make for good design. One of the charms of older homes is they were built before the concept of "open floor plans". Open floor plans became a popular way to build a home more cheaply. Why not just throw some furniture into a gymnasium and live in that? Even the office was a big mistake. I couldn't work at a desk where I had my back to the entrance. The dining room table was placed where it would be impossible to get around it once everyone was seated. Thank goodness the other two house choices the buyers had were spared. Won't be watching again.
