I have to agree a bit with the other review in that I was expecting something more like James Bond. However, I ended up really enjoying the fact that I had no idea where the story was going. Ben Whishaw is riveting. It's definitely a slow burn but in my opinion a good one. Also I found the love scene between the two men one of the best I've seen. It wasn't empty and physical, there seemed to be true emotion, which I appreciated. Ben Whishaw captured my deep affection in the movie Bright Star. He is the only reason I kept watching London Spy. I was just so happy to see him again. By the end of the episode I was a fan of London Spy. I have to edit my review. When I got to episode 5 I just wanted to see the end and be done with it. It meandered way to much for me and it seemed to lack direction.
