If you are a fan of the original series, I highly recommend this!
The production qualities are outstanding, and it was made by the original show creators, so much care was taken into it.
The stories themselves are well paced, full of details, and engaging throughout.
If I had any "complaint", it's that I wished they stuck to the original format of 2-4 stories per episode, instead of the current format of only 1 per episode. Then again, keeping it to 1 story per gives them an opportunity to fully flesh-out all the details, more akin to a modern documentary.
The production crew presents the information without comment, there is no narrator, although there is a nice nod to Robert Stack in the opening credits (I applaud this decision, no one has to "live up" to him).
If you were looking for the "exact" format / presentation of the 1980's version, you'll be disappointed, but as it's presented, I'm impressed. I'll be anxiously waiting for volume 2!
