Kudos to director Miguel Angel Vivas for delivering this creepy zombie flick. Knowing only an endless and hideous zombie-infested future was ahead, three survivors manage to stay hidden in a snowbound wilderness for nearly ten years. The town of Harmony is still not safe after suffering a zombie apocalypse. Patrick(Matthew Fox), Jack (Jeffrey Donovan)and nine yr-old little Lu(Quinn McColgan)form a makeshift family of sorts living in a fear that the rest of the world has been devoured by zombies. The last breath of the human race is not out their minds; then out of the freezing, crisp air comes the howl of a screaming zombie. If there is one, there has to be more.

You can feel the loneliness and frigid existence. The mutant zombies are creepy. And that insidious howling buckles your spine. You actually feel compassion for these characters. EXTINCTION was filmed in Hungary and Spain.

Also in the cast: Valeria Verau and Clara Lago. Lead creatures are played by Eduardo Fedriani and Daniel Bargueno.
