I've just made a start on this and wow it's fantastic. A Link to the Past on the Snes was the first Zelda game that I ever played and it's probably still my favorite one. Playing this brought back fond memories of that game, the locations becoming immediately familiar.

Initially when the first videos were released I didn't really take to the 'moving wall painting' concept, but now I've seen it in game it's fine. The music sounds exceptionally good through headphones and the graphics are also really nice.

Great stuff Nintendo!

Does it differ enough from Link To The Past? As much as I love that game, I don't need to own another copy (SNES, Gameboy Advance and wii virtual console already). I'm hoping Santa might bring me this for Christmas along with my repaired 3ds xl!

It's like asking if Majoras Mask is a copy of OOT.

Cheers, I was concerned that LBW was basically going to be LTTP with a few 3d bells on. The videos I had seen online had gone some way to convincing me otherwise, but I haven't got my hands on LBW to try yet.

Its a great game. I tried to convince myself at first that it was just a pretty remake but conventions aside (Zelda, Hyrule, Ganon etc.) its slowly unfolding into a completely new experience. Glad I stuck with it beyond the first few hours.

I have asked for this and a 3ds to play it on for Christmas fingers crossed as I have been a good boy this year!
