I'm not so sure.

Apparently there is some dispute that disabled people working can contribute.

I'm quite surprised it is TB disputing it. He's normally in favour of using logic and reason. Not to mention evidence.

A guy in the department I'm currently working with is in a wheelchair. He is in every way a full and valued member of staff. He's actually the SME on one of the platforms we work with.

All this time and I never realised he was just a welfare leech who doesn't pay any tax or spend any of his earnings in the wider economy. I guess that means the public sector employer I'm at must not be paying him either. Otherwise where does his salary actually go?

It's very confusing TB. Perhaps you can explain what I've misunderstood in your stance that having disabled people working doesn't reduce welfare or contribute to the wider economy?
