When I first started watching this show I just couldn't get enough of it. I loved the designs, it was drama free, and both Chip and Joanna were very entertaining. Now they've added the same drama that is in other HGTV shows. Something major always goes wrong and, of course, it will cost more money. I can understand that things go wrong when you're remodeling an older home so I can kind of overlook this. What I don't understand is why HGTV puts up with the antics of Chip. Someone needs to tell him that viewers watch this show for decorating ideas and not to watch him try to be funny. He isn't funny. I recently saw the episode where he pushed a button on a bidet and the water ended up going into a homeowner's mouth. Not funny. This show would be so much better if he would just calm down and maybe spend some time explaining the things they are doing to improve the house instead of swinging on tire swings and telling unfunny jokes. I've pretty much quit watching this show because of the way Chip acts. I also agree that all of their designs are starting to look alike.
