What did everyone else think of Pistorious's reaction to his loss? It seem like sour grapes to me if not ill-timed at the very least

Like the Velodrome pictures. I was there this morning. I was above the halfway point. Looks like you were lower than me. Great action though.
Then at the swimming this evening. GB got some medals. Could see how much it meant to some athletes. Those who can't hide their excitement.
I'll check my photos, but she kept giggling and had the crowd laughing with her. Really touching.
I see a quick glimpse of Oscars reaction. I'll have to watch the race to see how it happened,

Yeah, I was in Row 13 with a Class B ticket, I was stunned with the great view I had considering it was only a £30 ticket!

Cool. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow.
Anyone watching The Last Leg each night on C4? I'm really not sure what to make of it. Is it going to far? Or are they trying to be normal and I'm being a bit sensitive. The Paralympians themselves seem to be taking the jokes.

Personally I think your being a bit sensitive. It's kind of one of the points of the show to show that jokes can be made about disabilities just the same as they can be made about anything else and most disabled people just see it as funny or a bit of banter. The point is to just not be nasty. As someone with a disability (and I'm aware that some people don't even like that phrase) I find it a funny programme that pokes fun at things just like programmes like mock the week etc do.

1,
My only real complaint is that it's not really a highlights show (of course, it's clear it's trying not to be) but it's very good viewing. I wish Channel 4 had a proper highlights show on say More 4 or 4 Seven shown at the same while the last leg is shown on C4

Thanks. Don't get me wrong. I was laughing. I just wasn't sure if I should be laughing if that makes sense. I wasn't offended, or disgusted.
I just stopped to think at one point. "Should I be laughing". As you say we laughed at the Olympic jokes. It's nice to show these guys and girls as athletes, rather than disabled people competing in the Paralympics. Let's treat them the same as everyone else and not molly coddle and discuss their disabilities all of the time.

Went to the Athletics last night with the family.
Spent a few hours walking around the park first, sokaing up the atmosphere then into the stadium for 6pm, watching the build up for an hour.
Absolutely incredible atmosphere and we saw a lot of finals and medal cermeonies.
The place just erupted when Mickey Bushell won his 100m and was really moving during his ceremony, belting out the national anthem
What was brillianrt was that every athlete from every country was applauded, cheered and supported. The 5000m final for the sight affected was unbelieveable. The guy who won it was given a standing ovation but there was an Argentinian - the only athlete running with a guide - who was lapped 3 times. So after everyone else finished he still had 3 laps to go. He ran all 3 laps with the crowd on their feet, cheering and shouting him on ! His guide was egging on the crowd as he ran and we all had tears in our eyes. Incredibly emotional and something we will never forget. To listen to 80,000 people cheering you on like that must be unbelievable
Brilliant day !
