The weather played its part in a poor game but Ireland are well used to playing in those conditions. Really can't stand ping pong kicking straight to the opposition though. Fair enough kicking more because of the conditions but pointless kicking straight down the middle gets on my nerves. A first win in Ireland in 10 years is no mean feat though so well done lads.

Didn't enjoy that match one bit. Another in the long list of under achievement for Ireland. Losing Zebo was a terrible blow, and Sexton. BODs almost retired and very little to show for his superb performances for his country over the years, which is a shame.

I turned off at 6-6. Was bored out of my mind data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 To then find out it finished 12-6 with no tries scored data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

This was a boring game as well. This weekend was like a band's second album. Never as good as the first.

Poor game in Dublin yesterday - shame we helped England to the win, but they deserved it ! We made too many handling errors, bad judgement calls and gave away sloppy penalties. You could tell from 5mins in that England were up and at it better than Ireland and would go on to win.

We only sing it to annoy the welsh data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Don't agree it was a boring game(apart from the spells of tennis) Loads of action, loads of mistakes by the Irish, injuries, fake fighting and awful stamps made it an entertaining game.
Only team left that can win the slam, but france will finaly turn up when they play us,and the welsh will try everything they can to stop us.
SWING LOW......... data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It was as boring certainly as the Welsh game, without the flash of excellence, but the description does waiver when discussing your own team I suppose.

Wales & England both won in matches that were dominated by kicking, defence, rain and mistakes. Very similar IMO

Why, why, why.........................? La, la, la, lala la.
I think England have got a good team and they can certainly get to Cardiff unbeaten. Yet how many Slams have they let slip through their fingers at the very last hurdle. It's going to be some game.
I did think the Irish game was a bit boring, there were far too many Irish mistakes and the game was stop start all the way through. As I said before the game the weather was going to be a big factor, the pitch was awful although not as bad as in Paris. Ireland certainly did not seem to be the same team that so outplayed Wales for 40 minutes. England, to be fair, never looked like losing that match.
If there is rain forecast for March 16 do you think England will want the roof closed?

Agreed, I think England will go to Cardiff unbeaten, but I cant say the same for us, with the same degree of confidence.
If it is to be a Championship decider, then I hope the weather is kind!
