Great result to kickstart the campaign.
I maybe biased, but has there been a more consistantly brilliant player in world rugby than Brian O'Driscoll over the last 10 yrs? How will we ever replace him.

Not biased at all. There is only one I can think of...... a certain Richie McCaw. Tough call between those two, though.

I can't imagine what Wales were thinking for the forst 45 minutes of that game. Ireland were outstanding and Wales were so sluggish it was terrifying.

Tipuric should have started as his coming on was the turning point.

Great game of rugby though.

Agree with Bob. Great player, one of the best ever.

The angle of running and the final pass for the wingers try was typical of BO'D.

I wish to god coaches would stop substituting half of the team with twenty minutes left on the clock. England were in total control and all of the changes completely upset the balance. Looks like a different team or there now.

Another great game, well done England //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif

Swing low..............

Fair point. I think the reason they do it when clearly dominant is to give players a rest - especially with 4 games left. Also, many of these players will have more than one eye on a Lions place.

Clearly, when you're down, you're looking for a game-changer to come on - Tipuric coming on for Wales, a case in point. Although I'm worried he'll get cited for catching Sexton in the face data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

England were VERY good, I thought. Farrell definitely put his hand up as a serious challenger to Sextonfor the Lions #10 shirt.

I thought Ashton was lucky to stay on after his very late shoulder charge on Visser - God knows what the Touch Judge was watching.

Two VERY entertaining games today though.

Great games today. Looking forward to next week when todays two winners meet. Should be one to savour.

Great result for us today. Good to see some good performances from the new guys.

And BOD, what else can you say about him, fantastic player. Irreplaceable.

Next weeks game v England should be great. Ireland off to a great start but 2 very tough games at home v England and France.

Absolutely agree - that's blown the whole thing wide open....

Can I add Sergio Parisse to our list? He is phenomenal and would be, I think, in ANY team.

Wish he was Welsh data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
