Same here. I'd much rather spend the money on quality goods and support the sport.

I'm really looking forward to the IS game, but may have ended up paying £70 for a ticket that isn't going to be used.
Going with my brother, sister and her boyfriend but my brother had emergency surgery on Monday and may not be recovered enough to make it.
Obviously his health is more important, but we'll all be really disappointed if he can't make it as he loves the NFL.
If he is able to go it'll change our plans for the day as well to make travelling easier for him and will mean we'll miss the tailgate party.
Still, we have two games to look forward to next year so will have to make the most of those.

While I take the point about not knowing where your money is going (or even what it's going too) I've spent hundreds (if not in the thousands) on NFL stuff over the last 20 years, in terms of replicas, tshirts, jumpers, hats, tickets etc etc I'm sure missing out on my measily amount just this once won't be missed too much.

Am really looking forward to the IS as well. Was annoyed I couldn't go but with 2 games next year will certainly be at at least one of them. Just wish the Giants would come back as it was obviously a good luck omen for them! Who do you think will win Mandy?

As for today's game a beautiful typical Eli clutch drive to win the game. Despite our D looking shakey and RG3 doing what he does best I will take that result every week if I could!

Not all fakes are that bad, esp when as you say big companys abuse the poor countries. I once read an article about a fake manufacture who paid twice what a "proper" company was paying and when the place got shut down 300lost jobs in an area where 70% of people don't have jobs. Shame really how they couldn't make it legit.

There is a joke about fakes and the real thing being made in the same or neighbouring factories. In addition to not knowing what enterprises your money is funding, do you really want to give your payment details to a suspicious website? Each to their own

Anyone got a strong fancy to win the Superbowl this year , I backed Green Bay & Houston at the start of the Season , not feeling to confident with Houston but Green Bay have a major chance

Thinking a Packers - Broncos Superbowl

Ray Lewis=Legend!

He'll be hugely missed within the playing realms of the NFL. Hope he stays in the game in some sort of coaching capacity. 17 years as a player for his position is pretty much unheard of...

The guy is an ambassador for his sport.

Enjoy retirement when it comes Ray, god you've earned it. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

ray lewis great player, hall of famer yes but his involvement in covering up a murder resulting in obstruction of justice charges in 2000 will always taint his legacy for me

I saw a great NFL Film on Ray Lewis last year. I was always dubious about him given his conviction but the amount of charity work he does is unbelievable. I know that these types of films tend to focus on the good but nonetheless was very impressed. For example, he goes round to an elderly blokes house most weeks just to keep him company and takes him to games etc. It kind of changed my mind about him and that yes he's got a very serious blot on his record but he is certainly doing a lot to try and make up for it.

I enjoyednthe stuff he did over here recently as well.

Anyway...GO HAWKS!
