Snooker World Championship 2014

Starts tomorrow nice and early 10am and for once on BBC straight away, normally i think it's red button only.

As ever though since red button went to one stream, it is a struggle to see both feeds on a tv specially this weekend when the f1 is on also but it gets better from Monday.

Both tables are streamed from the bbc website so not to bad but not sure if they work on a tablet, find out tomorrow.

I have tickets to Ronnie's match tomorrow night but got a feeling that it will be almost over by then as he is playing the lowest ranked player left in the draw but you never know.

I am going for the day tomorrow, as I had fun there last year and hopefully might get a ticket in to a session or two before mine.

19 days of snooker, Ronnie in form, Ding in form and Robertson looking good also.

Time to lay some accumulators tonight and then sit back and enjoy.

Would love to go to the Crucible one day, this is one of my favourite tournaments in all of sport.

My pick to win is Robertson, he's been an absolute break-building machine this season. Wouldn't surprise me to see Judd Trump surprise a few people.

I'm never quite sure where Ronnie is at until he plays a close match. When he beat Robertson 13-11 in 2012 I kinda knew he was in the right frame of mind to win the title.

Can't dismiss Selby also. Ding succumbed to the pressure of the World Championship again.

Ronnie in the final. Robertson/Selby very tight so far, excellent stuff.

Ronnie's long potting is brilliant at the moment, hopefully he might get challenged tomorrow/monday but I think it's pretty much in the bag.

Shame Ding went out but it went to the final two balls so I wouldn't say he succumbed too much but I do think he fells the pressure at Sheffield more than most and probably even more this season.

Don't think he would have got past Ronnie anyway and him loosing lead to the great Hawkins/Dale match.

Think today's semi-final will go to the wire or near enough, 17-15 to someone hopefully Robertson but even if Selby wins it will give Ronnie another chance to steam roll him again.

Couple of my pics and one of me in the crowd.

O'Sullivan vs Selby final then. Can't see Ronnie not winning his 6th title.

Loving the final so far.

Selby did his best...from the opening two shots to do his normal gameplan (ie bore everyone to tears with tedious safety play and attempts at snookers in the hope that your opponent misses an attempt at a pot and leaves you straight in) and thankfully Ronnie has just potted and potted.

So happy.

Selby winning would be a disaster for the sport. Cowardly cheap play. Still sad that he beat Robertson.

Another Selby frame based on backwards play purely designed to make your opponent make a mistake so you're left with a simple pot.

O'Sullivan just not look overly interested or in control. The last player you want to play in that kind of mood is Selby.
