Hi,

I agree somewhat - Manny may not all be interested - there is no way he worships money as much as MW - his religious aspect seems to be taking over his life & I think after this fight, he will steer his life far more in that direction - I have read reports that apparently he will be giving away anything from $25 Million to Half of his earnings from this fight to charity.

Suave!

I don't think I've ever been this excited for a fight. I'll be shouting for Pacman the whole time, can't stand MW.

Apparently because I'm changing to Virgin on May 17th, I can't book any box office content, ie the bloody fight!!

Been on the phone for ages and got nowhere apart from them suggesting I cancel my cancellation and pay another month subscription as well as the price of the fight, then cancel again lol!

What an absolute joke. I'm still a paying Sky customer and can't order the fight? So peeed off right now.....

Be interesting to know the split between which boxer people want to win. Everyone I have spoke to wants the Pacman to win so do I. Can't stand MW at all.

Cobb Publish time 2-12-2019 20:56:58

The majority of people I've spoken to want Pacquiao to win but think MW will, myself included.

Can anyone see a draw happening? Thus creating a huge 2nd payday?

Cobb Publish time 2-12-2019 20:56:59

I only see 3 outcomes for this fight.

-Mayweather wins via decision
-Mayweather wins via KO
-Pacquiao wins via KO.

Hi,

Respectfully, I agree with all above except with No:2 - MW has not had a legitimate KO for a very long time & he is not a power puncher - however, I do believe part of their strategy is to seek a KO for bragging rights reasons - they are looking to humiliate the thorn in their side that is Manny Pacquiao because the World loves & respects Manny more & MW cannot live or function properly knowing that there is a fighter out there than can be a real threat to his self appointed TBE anointment.

I am hoping Manny is able to fire off some deadly liver & body shots so MW might drop his hands & then get tagged badly on the chin. If I was Manny, I would also target to break MW's elbows, Clavicle & punch hard uppercuts to his armpits to try his damage his shoulders in the early rounds & then finish him off. I think he also has to to hit very hard directly at MW's heart and neck where a bunch of nerves conjoin if he can possibly find a way. Also target that deadly & accurate straight left directly at MW's throat as well as it may pay dividends later on in the fight, especially if it makes breathing difficult for MW. He needs to slow MW down some how, some way - am I talking crap again?!!

I saw how flustered MW got when his eye got cut in one of the Maidana matches - if that happens, then I think some real doubt & fear might creep into him again as he is not use to fighting when he is compromised/injured - I pray that such happens!

I know this might sound silly, but some of the things Manny does in the ring kind of frustrates me - like the regular adjusting of his shorts, regular looking at the referee, standing at the ropes & getting hit - Roach keeps telling him to stay off the ropes but sometimes he just does not listen. I also think he does not go to the body enough or throw enough upper cuts but that is just from casual observation!

I wonder what strategy Roach has come up with to deal with MW's right counter?

Suave!

Haha I now have an image of MW being beaten to a pulp for 12 rounds, only able to stand upright with the help of his entourage and an oxygen tank at his side - but somehow getting the decision whilst the entire world looks on in shock.
