Thank you data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I'll keep an eye on it

I'm not sure I've done the right thing but I just ordered one from Dell outlet. Spent much more than I wanted. It is not XPS but Inspiron but has a 4k IPS screen. Only 15" too. Worst case scenario I will send it back

There is something I don't understand in the description. Screen is listed there with its details:
15.6 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) IPS Truelife LED-Backlit Narrow Border Touch Display

but then there is also this

LCD Back Cover : Platinum Silver UHD Touch Screen with HD camera

It would mean there is another screen on the back cover. I've not seen anything like that on a laptop before. That cannot be right

Do you have a link?

No. It was on the outlet, so when I ordered it, it disappeard from there.

It's not another screen. It's just the back cover which houses the screen and HD camera. It's an odd way of describing it though. I guess it must be for replacement purposes

The GPU is pretty poor and I'm not sure how it will handle 4k. Anything else I missed?

=adrian= Publish time 2-12-2019 06:56:15

I thought that would be the case.

How cool would be another small Always On display, where the logo usually is,showing you the notifications, the logo and housing fingerprint reader for unlocking the laptop. You heard it here first folks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

rancidpunk Publish time 2-12-2019 06:56:16

I don't think the GPU is that important for 4k picture or video editing, more for gaming. Did you find out how much of the Adobe RGB colour space the screen covers?

snerkler Publish time 2-12-2019 06:56:17

What's wrong with the GPU, 4GB sounds decent to me but then I don't profess to know much abut these things. Can't see anything from the description about colour gamut there?
