The new 35-100mm (silver one) the telezooms are tiny in comparison!!

Are you sure the 35-100mm in silver on the right is a constant f2.8? Would be fantastic if it was...

Just been watching a review on the OMD EM10 and it says that if you're using full speed burst shooting it doesn't AF between shots and so your first shot is in focus and the rest aren't (assuming a moving image). They say to get it to AF between shots you need to drop to 3fps, has anyone noticed this?

Also they say that the IS works differently for different FL lenses, and that the camera doesn't automatically recognise which FL is on so you have to manually select the correct IS each time you add a lens. Seems a bit odd this as what happens when you're using zooms? The guy on the video was using Canon lenses with an adapter though so am wondering if it's more to do with this?

Just for fun.....M43 to the left, an APS-C sized equivalent to the right data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I used to have the combination on the right as well...

Yes it would have something to do with that, as there wouldn't be an electronic coupling so the Canon lens can't identify itself...Saying that, I've used some Nikon lenses but can't say my Pen EP-5 forgets its settings, it just continued on what it was...Perhaps he has got a function enabled that resets everything on power down whilst switching the lenses to ensure he know where he starts from again...

Re AF and CAF burst - that is correct. It varies on models, but that is also my understanding.

I know you can get firmware updates for specific lenses to talk to the body correctly, but I assume this is limited to the M43 range of optics. I suppose there's no reason this can't extend to others one day though?

Actually I stand corrected, there are active mounts available for m43....Livelens is one of such that provides them....not cheap though and seem to be mainly used by the video boys and girls...

A quick question, regarding some alternative lens options. Has anyone had experience of the M43 fit Sigma 19mm f/2.8 or 30mm f/2.8 at all? I would normally stick to the main brands, but curious as to what people's experience of these might be.

@snerks - this is just plain "wrong" I think about Burst shooting on the E-M10 (mind you I'm a "newbie" to the camera and the M4/3 system) the E-M10 has a setting that allows you to enable or disable the C-AF when burst shooting - haven't checked the manual yet but no obvious mention of setting it to ON reducing the shooting frame rate - default is OFF I believe - and DJ has already covered your other point about lens recognition data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Will check the manual when I get a chance.
