Finished watching my Tablet in bed last night. Turned off the Bluetooth.
Location is off anyway. Pretty sure I left WiFi on (to be honest I'd aways want that on anyway, on any tablet, so you would get notifications coming thru)
When I use the tablet tonight, 22.5 hours later, I'll make a note of how much batter it's used just sitting there sleeping, and post it here tomorrow.
Whilst, I of course love a tablet that uses little power, when in use.
Lasting ages, when it's just sleeping it a really big point for me.
If I put a tablet down, with say 75% charge, I don't wish to go to pick it up, 3, 5, even 7 days later and find out the batterys dead.

Ok. Done my actual test, so I have real number as opposed to just a Opinion on battery.
My Current Tablet, Hudl2. Location and Bluetooth turned off, just WiFi still left on, and a very strong wifi signal.
I've done the maths, and on standby/asleep (not powered down cold) Battery drops almost 16% over a 24 hour period.
This is why I normally turn it off fully/cold every night after finishing watching perhaps a hour of YouTube before going to sleep.
Hence why I'm interested as to what drop when sleeping a new replacement may have.

Well my Samsung Tab A 10.1 16 drops about 1% over a 24 period with WiFi on.
Have you made a thread about tablet suggestions for your needs? I just sense this threads getting taken off topic or anyone who wants to know about the Lenovo models.

Thanks for that.
Yes, you are correct, I was just finding all this very interesting and my 'Inner Geek' got out of control! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
As you say, let's keep this thread about Lenovo data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I went back into Currys today.
Quick fiddle on the Lenovo Tab 4, the Yoga Tab 3 was still not powered up, and they don't currently stock the Tab 3 PRO model (no idea why) so even it it was powered up, not have been much use.
I then overheard the sale rep speaking to another customer than there was a new Samsung Tab A in stock, but they can't sell it yet as it's not official/released? Perhaps this weekend.
I stupidly did not ask him about size, so it may be the 7" one.
I've scoured the web and can't find anything else about a Jan 2018 new model Tab A
(Back to Lenovo)
Given timescales.... It's about dam time there was a Lenovo Yoga Tab 4
Given how old the Tab 3 is, and there is a normal 4. be nice if the did a new Yoga one

This is the new Samsung model, I looked at it (not I'm person, spec wise) and it's just too underpowered and low spec for me 1.4ghz processor and HD screen.

The old Lenovo yogatab 3 pro had a number of different features such as a video projector, but a much poorer processor and screen. I would see the yoga 3 plus as being effectively the yoga 4.
