Already got a dev kit on it's way to me in March/April, I'm a true believer. I couldn't bear the 12-18 month wait for the consumer edition.

But then I am a hardware whore. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

My Sons a Dev at Splash Damage, he's been singing it's praises for some time.

I would definitely want one.

Flight Sims and Race Sims are crying out for this, do want data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Tell your son from me Brink was an absolutely fantastic game, that just wasn't taken up by gamers for some unknown reason, i loved it, only thing was bots were a bit rubbish as there was so much variety to gameplay.

They should bring it out free to play, with micro-transactions, like TF2

As for the Oculus, this is 'the dream' to be honest, i actually wanted to buy but i have no programming knowledge at all.

So many first person games would be fantastic with it, its unthinkable how good it could be in Skyrim, Battlefield etc.

I'd do anything just for a tech demo like the videos.

I want one of these for Bonetown 3D....data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Ahh, thanks mate. He's only been at Splash a year or 2 (so post Brink) but he'd really appreciate that!

He's actually working on that new, free to play but micro transactions, with the bombs and stuff, Dirty Bomb I think it's called.

BUT, and I can't say what exactly, as he's under NDA (obviously) but is also working on a New Super Hero game with massive movie tie-ins.

It wont really take much working out if you think about it, but I can't say (as much as I want toodata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It will be a pretty big announcement from SD when it happens though data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Bit disappointed to get an email last night saying Doom 3 BFG wont be ready for dev kit launch..but it does smell awfully close as they mentioned it being the last chance to check shipping details if you're in the first batch of orders (not that I know if I am or not data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 )

I've been waiting for something like this since playing need for speed underground and pain killer with a pair of E-dimensional 3d glasses.

Not too keen on the motion tracking though as from what i've read the latency is too high and pretty much impossible to get lower with current tech.

Give me a believable full field of view in 3d and I'll be happy.
