Thats my line of thinking too.
It would be REALLY awesome if Valve's 3 planned VR titles are all free for Index users and I'd actually love that business model.
Aka. we ripped you off on the hardware by over pricing it but we've invested your money into awesome games you can play for free.
If in 2 years time, an Index has given you £200 of top-class VR games which would have been must buys anyway, I'd be a big Index advocate. Basically a very similar approach to the CV1.
