Should have it Wednesday.

Step down from Sonos play at? Most definitely not. No way. From what I've heard of that one, and audioned definitely not. They is not to say the sonos PlayBar isn't good for TV type stuff.

I'd say it's equalise, perhaps slightly better than my Denon DAB mini amp with CD and Q Accoustic speakers on stands. The combined value of that one was way more as well.

But no, it is no comparison for my full size Denon AVR with Monitor Audio floor standing speakers, let alone when all speakers join in. But hey, this doesn't compete with that. And it's cheaper than my center speaker alone is data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I like looking at album art as well. But let's be real you aren't just sitting down and flicking through 6,000 albums. Let alone say 4M.

The point is you can if you want. Just set it to device mode, look through it on your computer or phone and you can play anything you like. The cool thing is that it then ”handsoff” so even if your personal device is out of reach it will keep playing.

In what way am I tying myself in? I have to qualify that as to me that sounds so negative, but as I am there of free will and can leave at any moment in time I fail to see the negative part of it when it works well.

Hey Siri play Dire Straits

Ok here is your personal Dire Straits list.

OMFG, I can't believe this is just one speaker. I'm moving around the room finalising my daughters bedroom refurb and it sounds absolutely amazing. They done away with the concept of a main listening position. Damn, Brothers in Arms sounds so good, it is actually unreal and hard to belief.

Just asked her to play Brothers in Arms. Thanks for the suggestion. Mad but I’m lost for what to ask for! So far have played some classical radio and a Stones playlist.

What’s the best way to control the volume? Is it “hey Siri, turn volume up to 6/7/8” etc or “hey Siri, turn volume up by 5%”. Seems to be struggling a bit for me to adjust the volume as requested.

Also, I see it cannot add to your calendar? I thought it could?

She is a bit inconsistent. I normally ask for a percentage like 20 or 40 or 75. Weirdly when I asked for 100 percent she told me she can only do 1-10. Then I asked for 10 and it was like 10 percent. I asked for 100 again and she ask me whether I was sure as it is loud.

And yes calendar doesn't work yet. But ”navigation” does. Like how long does it take to get to X.

Btw what do you think of Brother in Arms? Isn't it truly remarkable that it is just one speaker?

Hey Siri play me a song

Well by the very fact you have to have another iOS device to use it plus an Apple music service.Where does it end? I want product freedom not walls.

Since I've started dismantling my reliance on Apple it's felt like a blast of fresh air.But hey it's your money to spend and if the Apple business model suits you then that's fine.
