No they haven't.

They've stolen other people's ideas, pretended they invented them (going as far as trying to patent them) and been amazingly innovative in the prices they extract from their customers.

Each to their own!
I tried android on a Samsung and an LG and also a windows lumia between my iPhone 5 and 7but couldn’t get on with android. It’s a shame ms dropped mobiles though.
We’ve probably all got an amount invested in iOS or Android now so will stick with it.
I recently ended up buying an apple 4ktv after using a pi for 3 years due to 4K.
Again I tried some other boxes runnng different os but thought I’d try apple even though it cost a lot more.
For me it supports everything I’ve thrown at it with regards to file type.
Whilst some might cry it doesn’t do 4:4:7:8:1:12 or whatever other colour space that 99% of people don’t understand it looks good enough for me!
After 10 years of pj I went led and here I do like Samsung - qled looks like a win to me compared to oled. Screen burn in is not sounding good.
So I have apple and Samsung kit, but it’s horses for courses.
If it works, looks good and doesn’t cost the earth I don’t care who makes it!

So people say Samsung innovates blah blah. They were already beaten by Xiaomi with a foldable phone, and in my opinion Huawei has hit a home run with their version.

That is the way to do it Samsung.

Apple was actually first with the folding tablet/phone hybrid

Does that mean the screen is on the outside of the device for the Huawei? Don't like the idea of that data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

But it does look nice

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 27-11-2019 22:41:53

Why not? The screen is on the outside of every phone and tablet on the market today data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Much prefer the design of the Huawei, I’ve been very impressed with the P20 I’ve had for the last few weeks.
I still have reservations regarding the durability of these folding phones over the long term though

HaRd2BeAr Publish time 27-11-2019 22:41:53

But they're glass for the most part, flexible screens are plastic no?

I'm just thinking far more scratch susceptible.
