Yep that is correct.
So I would hold out for a better deal than the current selling price.

Go to www.huaweipromo.co.uk for all offers.
I'm trying to hold out for the price to drop, or good offer.
Inbetween deciding if it's the pro I want or the expandable storage and wireless charging of the S9 plus. Spent hours and hours try to decide so far. Driving me mad.

I wouldn't recommend ever using wireless charging. I read somewhere that it depletes battery life. I didn't trust the article. I had a Note 4 with wireless charging (but removable battery) but in less than 8 months it absolutely killed my battery health. The battery was an Anker one as well, so not a Chinese copy. Just be warned it is convenient but the phones now don't have removable battery so it's a hidden phone killer.

I have an Lg G4. Never had any issues with wireless. Still on original battery. Unless it got changed whilst in for repair. Not that I had a issue regarding that.

Maybe I had a dodgy battery!

That’s not something I’ve heard before, but if it’s true I guess that’s the price of convenience. It’s more likely that you had a dodgy battery or a rogue app running in the background.

Got mine today. It is most excellent.
Got to admit, I'm quite impressed with the package Huawei has put together. Some manufacturers don't even include a charger. This phone came with a charger, headphones, headphone adapter,TPU case, and a pre-applied screen protector (sadly not tempered glass). Plus, there's the Bose headphones to come.
The screen is good. I'm coming from an OP3 though, so I can't judge it against other recent flagships. Performance is snappy. Fingerprint and face unlock work well and are very quick. And the battery life is amazing.
My only gripe so far? EMUI. It's not awful. But I don't feel like it enhances the Android experience at all. If anything, it detracts from it. My last few Android phones were the OP3, Nexus 5, and Z3 Compact, all of which were light on extra "features". EMUI is a manageable mess.

Hi McPhee, from my experience with EMUI, your best bet is to enable gesture control via the fingerprint sensor and enable the the app drawer so all your apps are available via an icon similar to regular android. Once this is done its fairly manageable and I actually found it very easy to use. Alternatively, stick nova on it.
