For contacts I always used my contacts back up app on iPhone.
Sync your contacts with Google on your iPhone, then you'll be good to go.
FYI, hotukdeals are reporting that EE will have the P20 Pro for £510 on payg from this weekend. Explains the high rrp and "free" Bose headphone deal!
Also, P20 will be £410 on same deal.
If anyone could try it out on android auto and report back it would be appreciated. Apparently Huawei phones generally don't work with it.
You could have got it for £549 from O2 last eeekind and got the headphones. £510 doesn't seem that remarkable.

It was available via PAYG briefly. Or you could take out a £99 upfront refresh tariff and then cancel after the phone arrives, paying £549.99 total (plus maybe a few days of line rental).
